Sekiro dragon spring hirata estate5/31/2023 ![]() This tool can be used for Lightning Reversal. This gives you a teleport of sorts through enemies, granting some invulnerability. If no direction is chosen, you will instead teleport straight up. When attacked in this stance, instantly move in the direction chosen with L. Mist Raven is an evasive tool useful for avoiding enemy attacks, giving Sekiro a chance to reposition. ![]() Mist Raven is a Prosthetic Tool in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Once you think you've caught one, all that will remain is feathers. When attacked in the assumed stance, disappear like the mist and move away. I highly recommend you check out his videos if you are inteseted in Lore from the "From Software" games.A Prosthetic Tool loaded with the feather of a Mist Raven. Owl also hoped the Iron Code would be enough to stop Sekiro from opposing him when you encounter him at the top of Ashina Castle.Īgain this is all speculation, based on research done by Vaatividya. He Probably hoped that Lady Butterfly would be able to kill Sekiro before he became a problem, which is why Owl backstabs Sekiro right after you beat Lady butterfly. Owl instructs Sekiro to guard over Kuro from a very young age, probably to protect the Dragons Heritage until Owl was ready to enact his betrayal to extract it from Kuro. (based on the conversation between Drunk Juzo and one of the Mnistry Ninjas during your second visit to Hirata Estate) I dont know if you guys know about Vaatividya, the Youtuber who delves very deep into From Software games' Lore?Īlthough it was never explicitly mentioned in game, Vaatividya believed that Owl sent Sekiro away on a mission right before secretly co-operating with the Internal Minstry and Lady Butterfly to attack Hirata Estate. ![]() Owl's memory is sort of a dream version of what happened in Hirata. I think when Sekiro enters Hirata the second time he's literally inside Owl's memory (distinct from entering the literal past) and events occur differently than they originally did in the real world. I suppose he technically could have revived from the backstab and fought Owl off but it seems unlikely. I personally don't think that Sekiro actually fought Owl at Hirata. Sekiro wakes up beside the Sculptor and the game begins in earnest. Knowing Sekiro may return again regardless, Genichiro decides it's safest to keep Kuro under his personal watch in the castle. Sekiro frees Kuro but is caught by Genichiro - Genichiro now knows Sekiro is immortal, thrashes him in a fight and cuts his arm off in hopes that leaving him crippled is better than killing him and letting him revive at full strength. It's possible that he keeps Kuro a secret from the Ministry in hopes of attaining immortality for himself alone. Genichiro dumps Sekiro in the Reservoir dungeon, locks Kuro in the Moon Tower, and leaves some soldiers behind to watch for intruders.ģ years later, realizing that Ashina is at it's end and Genichiro has embraced heretical arts, Isshin sends Emma to wake Sekiro and free Kuro.ĭuring those 3 years Owl is off plotting a full scale invasion of Ashina with the Interior Ministry. ![]() In the first memory, Owl stabs Sekiro, Kuro grants Sekiro the heritage, Owl realizes he can't force Kuro to grant him the heritage (no mortal blade at this point), and flees before the Ashina reinforcements arrive and expose his plot to Genichiro. Lady Butterfly attempts to mesmerize Kuro into granting the Dragon's Heritage but is interrupted and slain when Sekiro returns. Owl sends Sekiro on a separate mission that leaves Hirata defenseless and coordinates an attack with the Interior Ministry. This frees up Owl to go scheming across Japan. ![]() Owl assigns Sekiro as Kuro's bodyguard and leaves Lady Butterfly to train Sekiro. Owl is hired by Genichiro to "protect" Kuro (to ensure he never leaves Hirata/Ashina until he grants Genichiro the Dragon's Heritage). ![]()
